Privacy Policy

Ledger ("Ledger", "we", "us") is a personal-finance app published by Domoney. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your data.

What we collect

• Account data. When you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your name, email address, and (for Google) your profile photo.
• Transaction data. When you forward bank or payment-alert emails to your personal Ledger forwarding address, we process the contents of those emails to extract transaction details such as merchant, amount, and date. We also store transactions you add manually or by voice entry, along with the budgets, cycles, categories, and recurring bills you create.
• Usage and diagnostics. We collect anonymous product-analytics events and crash reports to keep the app reliable and understand which features are used.

How your data is processed by AI

To categorize transactions and to answer the questions you ask in the app, the relevant transaction details and your message are sent to Google's Gemini API. Google processes this data to return a result to Ledger and does not use it to train its models under the API terms we use. We do not send your AI requests to any other model provider.

Email forwarding

Ledger works by reading transaction-alert emails you choose to forward to a unique address we assign to you. We process those emails to identify transactions. We never ask for, receive, or store your bank login credentials, and Ledger does not connect directly to your bank.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of processors to run the service:

• Google and Apple — sign-in; Google Gemini — transaction parsing and AI answers.
• Cloudflare — email routing and website hosting.
• RevenueCat and the App Store / Google Play — subscription management and billing. We never see your card or payment details.
• PostHog — product analytics; Sentry — crash reporting.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account from Profile → Edit Profile → Delete Account, we erase your transactions, budgets, recurring bills, profile, forwarding configuration, and authentication record within 7 days.

Your rights

You can export your transactions to CSV (Profile → Export Data) and delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the app. For any other request — including access or correction — email support@domoney.app and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Ledger is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we update this policy we will revise the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
